Mission Statement: The founding board members of A.P.P.D.A. are a group of professional and civilian working dog trainers, who wanted to engage in a program that would bring our dogs to a higher standard.

This program includes realistic, practical applications for the Personal Protection Dog (PPD) and the Police Service Dog (PSD). Our goal is to train hard and test our dogs through sanctioned trials .

Members will be able to test their abilities and gain the confidence to react in a true scenario if confronted. Our over all goal is to educate the dog team through reality based scenarios in the likelihood that our dogs may one day be put to the ultimate test.

We as handlers and trainers will know without a shadow of a doubt our dogs will perform with the confidence and courage needed to de-escalate any situation.
